Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in all areas of plant production work.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift production operations and assign tasks to staff.
• Monitor procedures to ensure product safety, legality and quality.
• Instruct production technicians and outsourced labor on equipment use.
• Review records to optimize time and materials, and ensure quality.
• Ensure equipment remains in good operating condition and safe.
• Plan and adjust work assignments to cover all production phases.
• Possibly operate and be trained/certified on facility metal detectors.
• Enforce work rules and assist with employee training.
• Participate in disciplinary actions as necessary and maintain area cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
