Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to guide bakery operations and deliver warm, delicious cookies with outstanding guest service. You will lead the Cookie Crew, bake, package, and manage shift tasks while upholding quality, safety, and speed of service in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and hands-on support to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, with evening and late-night shifts common. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to obtain food safety certifications applicable to the location.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift, delivering an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while providing excellent guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members, giving clear direction and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations running efficiently and meet guest demand.
• Help maintain standards for product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates and partner with store leadership to optimize bakery operations.
• Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
