Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to run bakery operations during the on‑duty period, delivering an exceptional guest experience from start to finish while guiding a Cookie Crew. You will bake, package, and prepare orders, coach teammates, manage cash, and uphold quality, safety, and speed as top priorities.

Collaborate with store leadership to optimize bakery performance and guest satisfaction. Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday availability is expected, with competitive hourly

Qualifications

• 1+ year in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or a customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during shift and ensure a guest experience from start to finish.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while providing exceptional guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew with direction, feedback, and support.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations running efficiently and meet guest demand.
• Help maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates and partner with store leadership to keep bakery operating at its best.
• Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
