Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery in Tarboro, NC is seeking a dedicated Janitor for the 3rd shift to maintain a clean and safe environment overnight. You will perform routine cleaning, manage waste, and address maintenance needs to support production and staff.

This full-time role requires independent work, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with safety standards. Prior janitorial experience and a HS diploma are preferred; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment; must lift 50 lbs.
Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Clean floors, restrooms, offices, hallways and other facility areas with appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
Empty trash and dispose of waste per company policies and environmental regulations.
Monitor and replenish supplies in restrooms and common areas.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns observed during the shift to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
