Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a bakery associate to join our team in Wellsboro, PA. You will help keep the bakery stocked, greet customers, take orders, and assist with displays and cake writing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing; greets customers and answers questions.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person with a pleasant attitude.
• Sets up special-order tables and displays; may write on cakes.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh, properly priced, and clearly signed.
• Assists with production of breads and pastries per logs/recipes.
• Maintains sanitation and cleans work areas per health/OSHA standards.
• Assists with receiving deliveries and stocking equipment.
• Helps minimize shrink and reports shortages or overages to manager.
• Cooperates with co-workers to ensure smooth department function.
