Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and positive experience at the bakery counter.
• Advise customers on baked goods and take orders.
• Weigh, price, and package items and process payments.
• Manage baking ingredients inventory and request stock as needed.
• Track ingredient expiry dates and plan usage accordingly.
• Monitor visual appeal and availability of baked goods on display.
• Report low stock to the Baker promptly.
• Keep the bakery counter clean and tidy and perform other duties as needed.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup after business hours and prep for the next day.
• Handle customer complaints and relay to the Baker.

Your passion for baked goods and your knack for providing top-notch customer service will make each customer's experience exceptional. From helping customers select their favorite pastries to offering recommendations and answering questions about our delectable offerings, you'll be the go-to person for all things bakery-related.

What You'll Do

• Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.


• Advising customers on baked goods selection and taking orders.


• Weighing, pricing, and packaging purchased items, as well as processing payments.


• Managing the baking ingredients inventory and requesting the purchase of stock.


• Tracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.


• Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.


• Reporting low baked goods stock to the Baker in a timely manner.


• Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter and performing other duties on request.


• Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.


• Managing customer complaints and relaying them to the Baker.


• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
