Job summary

Flowers Foods is seeking a Production Technician- Break Person in Denton, TX. The role covers operation of automated production equipment, diagnosing machinery issues, assisting in preventative maintenance, and maintaining sanitation throughout the line.

You will rotate assignments to support order fulfillment and product quality while fostering a safe work environment. The position requires 2+ years of related experience and a HS diploma or equivalent with technical certification training.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent plus a technical certification course (HVAC, auto maintenance/repair, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and work reporting times.
• Operate facility metal detectors where required and be trained/certified.
• Perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and enforce safety rules at all times.
• Monitor production schedules, running order, and formulas.
• Weigh and stage ingredients according to standards.
• Ensure product is loaded into proper containers.
• Conduct quality control inspections and monitor compliance with standards.
• Provide scheduled breaks as needed and act as a team member.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
