Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Denton, TX, is seeking a Production Technician- Oven Operator to support our bakery lines. You will operate automated equipment, aid in maintenance, monitor quality, and help ensure product safety and on-time order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance).

Responsibilities

• Check production work schedule and adapt to changes.
• Operate facility metal detector(s) and be trained/certified.
• Perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited preventive maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety rules.
• Monitor production schedules, running order, and formulas.
• Weigh and stage ingredients according to standards.
• Ensure product is loaded into proper containers and perform QC inspections.
• Provide scheduled breaks for Production Technicians on shift.
• Be a collaborative team member and follow supervision.
