Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician to contribute to all phases of the team-oriented production process. The role includes operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery issues, and assisting in preventative maintenance and sanitation.

Technicians must rotate assignments, monitor equipment and product quality, and make real-time decisions affecting order fulfillment. Candidate must master Enterprise software for data input, retrieval, and reporting, and comply with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with technical certification.
• Technical training in HVAC or auto maintenance or similar.
• Equivalent military training or 45 college credit hours may substitute for technical training.
• AIB “Science of Baking” course may be included in certification requirements.

Responsabilités

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and reporting times.
• Operate facility metal detector(s) and complete required training.
• Perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety rules at all times.
• Monitor production schedules, running order, and formulas.
• Weigh and stage ingredients according to standards.
• Load product into proper containers.
• Perform quality control inspections and monitor for standards.
• Provide scheduled breaks for Production Technicians on shift as needed.
• Be a collaborative team member and perform other duties as directed.
