Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Denton, TX seeks a Production Technician to support all phases of the team-based production line.

You will operate automated equipment, diagnose machinery issues, assist in preventive maintenance, and ensure sanitation and safety standards while rotating assignments to meet production goals. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with technical certification training, 2+ years of related experience, and ability to work as part of a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency plus completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance).
• Ability to rotate assignments, work in a team, and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Check production work schedule for job assignments and times.
• Operate facility metal detector(s) and stay certified.
• Perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited preventive maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety rules.
• Check production schedules, running order, and formulas.
• Load product into proper containers and ensure quality control.
• Provide scheduled breaks and work as part of a high-functioning team.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
