Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a production operator on the Tastykake line at its Philadelphia-area facility.

The role covers operation of automated equipment, initial diagnosis of machine issues, sanitation and preventative maintenance, and rotating assignments across multiple stations to ensure product safety and quality. Two years of bakery or production experience and a high school diploma or equivalency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years bakery or production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
• Loads, operates and unloads mixer(s).
• Operates dough pump.
• Performs quality control inspection of finished product.
• Ensures work area is clean and organized.
• Performs start-up/shut down sanitation and operator's preventative maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
