Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a dedicated machine operator to contribute to all phases of the production process on the assembly line. Responsibilities include operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery issues, assisting in sanitation, and maintaining safety and quality standards across shifts.

Starting pay is $24.34 per hour with a comprehensive rewards package. The role requires adaptability to rotate tasks and a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience as a technician and/or formal training with certificate of completion.
• Two years as machine operator in a manufacturing environment providing documentation of said responsibilities.
• Six months as Production Helper with good record.

Responsibilities

• Checks and adheres to production work schedule for job assignments and work reporting times.
• Operators may be assigned to operate facility metal detector(s).
• Performs start-up/shut-down sanitation and limited preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Ensures that work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to applicable safety rules at all times.
• Checks and maintains production schedules, running order, and formulas.
• Scales and stages ingredients according to standards.
• Ensures that all product is loaded into proper containers.
• Performs quality control inspections and monitors for government and company standards.
• May provide scheduled breaks for Machine Operators on assigned shift.
• Acts as a member of a highly functioning team.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision
