Job summary

LS Solutions in Southfield, MI is seeking a Bakery Associate to prepare bakery items, frost and decorate as needed, and help maintain attractive displays to support store profitability.

You will rotate stock, price and wrap items, monitor shelf conditions, report supply needs, keep the department clean and compliant with safety, food safety, and PPE guidelines, and assist across departments when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Baking and frying per production schedule (80% of time).
• Pricing, wrapping, and displaying bakery items.
• Rotating and merchandising bakery shelves and cases.
• Communicating supply needs to management.
• Assisting in receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Maintaining product knowledge, handling spoiled items appropriately.
• Keeping the department clean, organized, and compliant with safety and food standards.
• Following safety, food safety, guest experience, and PPE guidelines.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned, possibly across departments.
