Job summary

feine coffee is seeking a hands‑on Production Manager to oversee daily bakery and commissary production operations. You will coordinate production, inventory, staffing, quality, food safety, and deliveries to ensure on‑time, high‑quality products for stores and customers.

The role demands strong bakery/food production experience, prior leadership, and the ability to train a team, manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, and maintain rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bakery, kitchen, food production, or similar experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organization and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with inventory and production planning. Strong attention to quality and consistency.
• Comfortable training and leading a team.
• Reliable communication and follow‑through.
• Ability to work independently and solve day‑to‑day operational problems.
• Reliable transportation.
• ServSafe Manager certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily and weekly bakery and food production.
• Lead, train, and support production team members.
• Help establish production priorities and assign daily responsibilities.
• Monitor product quality, consistency, yields, and presentation.
• Manage ingredient, packaging, and supply inventory.
• Coordinate ordering, receiving, storage, and product rotation.
• Ensure store orders, catering orders, and deliveries are accurate and ready on time.
• Maintain clean, organized, and food‑safe production and storage areas.
• Help reduce waste, shortages, and unnecessary overproduction.
• Maintain recipes, production sheets, checklists, and other operational systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and production efficiency.
• Step into hands‑on baking, food preparation, packaging, or production when needed.
