Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is hiring an Assistant Baker/Froster to join our Novi, MI bakery. You will support cake production by following proprietary recipes, preparing ingredients, and assisting with frosting and packaging.

The role requires precise measurements, fast pace, and strict safety practices. Responsibilities include operating commercial bakery equipment, maintaining sanitation, and aiding daily production flow.

Qualifications

• Understands written recipes and directions and applies them accurately.
• Knows US customary units of measure and how to use them.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Operates commercial-grade ovens and bakery equipment safely.
• Adheres to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follows NbC recipes and production methods to meet productivity goals.
• Uses measuring instruments, mixers, ovens, and tools to bake and frost cakes.
• Assists baker with prep of ingredients and placing pans into hot ovens.
• Assists frosters with frosting prep and order building.
• Supports daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation; maintains logs and storage.
