Job summary

BK FRANCHISE HOLDINGS LLC in Burke, VA is seeking Back of the House Staff for bakery production. The Baker I works with senior bakers to prepare goods, follow recipes, and maintain quality and cleanliness in a busy kitchen.

The role supports production, quality control, and inventory, requiring attention to detail and teamwork. Flexible full- or part-time hours are available, with pay between $15 and $17 per hour depending on position and experience.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and procedures.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Prior bakery or commercial kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes.
• Measure and portion ingredients accurately.
• Operate ovens and mixers under supervision of senior bakers.
• Bake and monitor products to meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks and report issues to Head Baker.
• Monitor and rotate ingredients to maintain stock.
• Keep workstations and storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and collaborate with BOH team.
