Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Production Associate in Cicero, IL. This entry-level role supports the bakery production team by operating equipment, packaging products, and handling ingredients to ensure high-quality baked goods reach customers.

You will work in a warm environment, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds, with nights, weekends and holidays required. Benefits and competitive pay apply under our collective bargaining terms.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1-3 years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-powered machinery safely and efficiently.
• Package products and assemble ingredients.
• Move and stack materials and equipment for production of baked goods.
• Inspect products and reject those not meeting specifications; address issues to reduce waste.
• Participate in training, audits, and GMP/food-safety activities.
