Job summary

Stoltzfus Meats, Inc. is seeking a dependable Bakery Prep Associate to join our busy bakery team. No professional bakery experience is required as we provide training. This part-time role keeps you active and learning new bakery and food-production skills within a small, family-owned company.

You’ll work 6 am to 12 pm on Thursdays and Saturdays, helping prepare products, stock displays, and keep the bakery area clean. A supportive team environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Schedule:

6 am - 12 pm; Thursdays and Saturdays.

What You'll Do

Y'ou'll help our bakery team prepare products for our customers and keep everything stocked, organized, and ready for the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Packaging and labeling fresh bakery products
• Stocking shelves and displays so they're full, fresh, and inviting
• Helping load and unload bakery ovens
• Rotating products and checking freshness and quality
• Preparing products and supplies for the bakery team
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and food-safe
• Helping your teammates wherever needed to keep the bakery running smoothly

It's active, hands-on work, and no two days are exactly the same.

What the Job Is Like

This is an active position. Y'ou'll spend much of your day standing, moving, stocking, packaging, and helping prepare bakery products.

Team members should be comfortable:

• Standing and moving throughout the workday
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Working around bakery ovens and areas that can be warm at times
