Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician for our Swedesboro, NJ facility to maintain and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs and industrial networks, and the ability to train Electro-Mechanics across shifts. On-site work with 1st and 2nd shifts; weekend availability may be required. Salary is hourly with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and work orders.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment.
• Support plant utility systems (steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, power).
