Job summary

Darling Ingredients in Russellville, KY, seeks a Maintenance Worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in our bakery processing facility under supervision. You will assist in installing new equipment, follow PM schedules, and work 12-hour night shifts with on-call as needed.

Qualifications include forklift experience, welding, electrical and mechanical skills; a high school diploma or GED is required, and vocational training is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists in installation of new equipment.
• Assists Maintenance Supervisor on projects.
• Follows preventative maintenance schedule.
• Performs machine repair and installation tasks.
• Greases and oils plant equipment daily.
• Diagnoses and replaces parts with minimal direction.
• Diagnose and repair control circuits and VFD installations.
• Maintains clean, safe work area.
• Follows safety rules and participates in safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
