Job summary

Desert Diamond Casino West Valley is seeking a pastry cook to prepare baked goods, breads and doughs for multiple food & beverage venues. You will follow standardized recipes, manage stock levels, and maintain clean, sanitized work areas under supervision of the Pastry Sous Chef.

The role requires 1 year of baking experience, ability to pass background checks and obtain required licenses, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced casino kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year bakery experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass pre-employment checks including background and gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of baked goods, breads, and doughs per menu and demand.
• Reads, understands and follows standardized recipes for bakery items.
• Maintains stock levels and ensures proper par levels and storage.
• Maintains clean, organized, sanitised work areas following health codes.
• Communicates effectively with team and management; supports open venues.
