Job summary

SpartanNash in Holland, Michigan is seeking a Bakery Associate to prep, bake, package, label, and merchandise bakery products in our store. You’ll follow flight plans, rotate stock, and work closely with the Bakery Manager and other departments to meet guest experience standards.

Responsibilities include safe food handling, PPE compliance, accurate weights, and communicating tasks and recipes to teammates. Prior retail exposure preferred; HS diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce bakery products to production plan.
• Package and label bakery products per program plan.
• Merchandise bakery products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with bakery products including rotation and dating.
