Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Bakery/Packager to prepare fresh baked items daily for our members, following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise accurately. You’ll juggle several tasks in a fast-paced setting while helping members with bakery orders to ensure the freshest items for take-home.

You’ll be part of a large team with a shared goal of happy, satisfied members, maintaining a clean, ready-to-serve area and leveraging digital tools to drive sales and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and assist members quickly and accurately.
• Provide exceptional service and maintain a member-ready area.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborate with teammates to build a strong bakery team and assist members as needed.
• Be an Expert: prepare bakery items using recipes, wrap and label merchandise, ensure food safety standards.
• Be a Techie: use handheld tools and digital devices to support production and ordering decisions.
• Be an Owner: maintain cleanliness, ensure quality and proper packaging of bakery items.
