Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicates with team members; flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise daily by operating baking equipment; follows recipes; wraps, labels, stores merchandise; ensures food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory control; maintains equipment.
• Be a Techie: Uses handheld devices to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; supports production decisions, merchandise ordering, and training.
• Be an Owner: Maintains work area per policies; ensures quality/date control; protects fragile/high-shrink items; reduces waste; assists members with purchases; proper packaging and labeling.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club; demonstrates high-quality service and products; energizes and commits to the work.
• Complies with policies and ethics; uses Open Door Policy; applies in operations and practices.
