Walmart’s Myrtle Beach location is seeking a Bakery/Packager Team Member to help prepare fresh items daily and support members with bakery orders. You will follow recipes, wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items for our members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Follow recipes and ensure food safety standards and sanitation guidelines

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicates with team members; adapt to business needs and work in other areas as required.
• Be an Expert: prepares bakery merchandise according to daily production needs; follows recipes; wraps, labels, stores merchandise; ensures food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management; operates and sanitizes equipment.
• Be a Techie: uses handheld technology to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates; supports production decisions and product quality with customers in mind.
• Be an Owner: maintains clean work areas and packaging standards; ensures quality and date control; secures fragile items; minimizes waste; assists members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: promotes high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy and commitment.
• Complies with policies and ethics; communicates progress; adapts to change and feedback.
