Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred, 12+ months.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong math and basic accounting skills are helpful.
• Familiarity with store procedures and safety standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes products through proper buying procedures.
• Monitors open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Requests and ensures proper signage is in place.
• Controls spoilage and shrink; supports inventory goals.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature and sweep worksheets.
• Ensures timely, accurate orders and inventory turns.
• Maintains positive relationships with vendors.
• Oversees customer special order procedures.
• Analyses product transfers, waste and spoilage; supports inventories.
• Maintains store profitability by meeting purchasing and sales targets.
• Reports safety hazards and follows SOPs and health regulations.
