Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support bakery, coffee and juice merchandising, inventory control and customer service. You will replenish products, monitor open PO reports, ensure proper signage, and help maintain health and safety standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Merchandising expectations.
• Ability to educate team on product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes products through proper buying procedures.
• Monitors and acts upon open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Requests and ensures proper signage.
• Controls spoilage/shrink; achieves turn goals; participates in inventory.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Ensures orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Maintains positive working relationship with vendors.
• Oversees customer special order procedure.
• Analyzes and controls product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
• Supports leadership in conducting inventories.
• Maintains financial profitability by meeting and exceeding purchasing and sales targets.
• Arrives to work on time and follows required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation and safety procedures.
