Job summary

Insomniacookies is seeking an Assistant Bakery Operations Manager (ABOM) in Phoenix, AZ to assist with bakery operations and develop leadership skills. This role focuses on managing quality, cleanliness, and guest experience standards while ensuring operational targets are met.

The ABOM will support recruiting and training new staff, manage day-to-day operations in the absence of the Bakery Operations Manager, and maintain a strong culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality operations.
• Strong operational discipline and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute all core bakery operations including inventory rotation and scheduling.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new staff.
• Manage bakery operations independently in the absence of the BOM.
