Job summary

The GIANT Company in Fairless Hills, PA is seeking a retail store team member to support daily bakery and department operations. You will review the shift schedule, prepare PPE, supervise and train colleagues, receive and stock items, and assist with baking and display tasks.

Oversight of Starbucks responsibilities is included. Responsibilities emphasize adherence to safety standards, accurate labeling, and maintaining clean work areas while supporting a fast-paced grocery environment in PA

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties and follow safety rules.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
• Must have a valid identification.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.
• Must complete the in-house forklift-training program (this is a job-specific requirement).

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift.
• Enter orders, schedule work, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place on trays, push racks to oven, and bake goods.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels, label baked goods, and clean display cases.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
• Oversight of Starbucks.
