Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Bakery Associate to ensure baked goods are prepared and displayed to company standards. You will work with bakery staff to promote sales and provide friendly customer service to support profitability.

The role requires a high school Diploma or GED, at least 1 year related experience, and Food Handler plus Manager Food Safety certifications. You must be able to lift up to 40–75 lbs and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Food Handler certification required and Manager Food Safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure baked goods are prepared and displayed to Company standards.
• Promote department sales and provide customer service to support profitability goals.
• Train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign and direct work with management.
• Maintain quality control, rotate stock, and ensure safety standards are met.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and occasional delivery of baked goods.
