Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Supervisor to lead daily bakery operations, ensure product quality, and maintain customer service standards. You will assist with scheduling, inventory, and staff development to maximize department performance and guest satisfaction.

The role requires at least two years of management experience in retail or a related field, with decorating experience a plus. This position emphasizes teamwork and operational excellence in a grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum (2) years’ experience in management in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
• Decorating experience preferred.
• GED or high school diploma required; associate/bachelor’s in business desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Bakery department operations and staff in absence of Bakery Manager.
• Promotes excellent customer relations and handles customer questions professionally.
• Ensures department profitability through inventory, pricing, and waste control.
