McKeever Price Chopper is seeking an experienced Asst Bakery Manager to lead our bakery department with excellence. You will oversee daily operations, ensure product quality, and inspire a collaborative team focused on guest satisfaction.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll supervise staff, schedule production for breads, pastries, and cakes, uphold food safety standards, control inventory, and drive sales through knowledge, training, and friendly service.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience in bakery or food production leadership required.
• Knowledge of bakery operations, food safety standards, and recipe compliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively.
• Customer-focused with a passion for food and service.
• Willing to obtain a food handler permit (assistance provided by McKeever’s).

Aufgaben

• Lead, train, and manage bakery team members, ensuring high standards for service and performance.
• Oversee production schedules for breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines.
• Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and product rotation.
• Support and execute custom cake orders, seasonal promotions, and merchandising displays.
• Drive department sales and profitability through product knowledge and team engagement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with store leadership and team members.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of bakery staff.
