Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls the operation of the Bakery Department to achieve sales and profit objectives.
• Plans, organizes and directs day-to-day bakery operations with independent judgment.
• Oversees baking, decorating, slicing and packaging of bakery products.
• Maintains inventory, logs, reports and records; manages ordering and stock levels.
• Ensures quality, safety, labeling, merchandising and compliance with policies.
• Hires, trains, evaluates and schedules bakery staff; monitors performance and attendance.
• Engages in customer service, accepts special orders and promotes sales.
• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and safety of the department and equipment.
