Globalclassifieds is hiring a Bakery Helper to support two Manhattan locations. You will assist in baking, prep batters and icings, and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role emphasizes reliability, ability to learn, and readiness to follow manager directions. A valid driver’s vehicle is preferred for transport to shifts. This is a full-time, on-site position in New York.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a kitchen or baking environment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and understand and follow written and verbal instructions from management.
• Spanish speaking OK.
• We will train you to become the best baker you can be.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the company and embody POSH POP culture.
• Retain and demonstrate proper procedures from managers.
• Use proper techniques for mixing, pouring, and storing batters and icings.
• Help wash dishes, bake and cool as needed.
• Prepare batters and icings to send to other bakeries when appropriate.
• Maintain a steady pace to complete tasks on time.
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks per checklists.
• Accept shipments and packages.
• Report to work as scheduled for the shift length.
