Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator to set up and run dough sheeting and molding processes, ensuring correct dough size and proper baking flow.

You will maintain clean GMP standards and adhere to safety and company policies while contributing to efficient production. The role requires 1+ year of production experience, reading comprehension, and the ability to follow detailed standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year’s production experience.
• No educational prerequisite; ability to read, comprehend and record information.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment according to established standards (sheeter rollers, flour sifters settings, guide rails, plow settings, pan guides, etc.).
• Ensure dough pieces are proper size and length according to standards.
• Ensure proper sheeting, moulding and panning per production standards.
• Remove all double dough pieces from pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and GMP’s.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
