Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is seeking a production team member for our Tarboro, NC facility. The role involves scaling ingredients, preparing pallets, and operating bulk/mixer equipment on a manufacturing line.

Candidates should demonstrate reliable attendance and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience in manufacturing, a good safety record, and familiarity with GMPs.

Qualifications

• 12 months of continuous work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Practice good safety habits and maintain a good safety record.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain good attendance and reliability.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Collaborate with support groups to keep production lines ready and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scale and measure ingredients using various scales.
• Condense partial pallets of ingredients daily.
• Program liquid and dry bulk systems for mixers.
• Set up mixing platforms with pre-scales and read batch tickets.
• Set up and maintain equipment; operate assigned machinery.
• Maintain a clean work environment throughout the shift.
• Complete production documentation as required.
• Possess basic troubleshooting skills for equipment."
• Cross-train on other machines or areas as needed.
