Nothing Bundt Cakes in Baton Rouge is seeking an energetic Bakery Manager who leads teams, elevates guest experiences, and drives bakery success in a fast-paced setting.

You will coach staff, manage schedules, control costs, ensure food safety and brand standards, and help grow sales through local marketing and community involvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant, retail, or bakery management experience.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience managing labor, food cost, and sales performance.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
• Create schedules that support labor goals while meeting business needs.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high OSAT (Guest Satisfaction) scores.
• Drive bakery sales through local marketing, catering, fundraising, and community involvement.
• Manage inventory, ordering, food costs, and waste.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Monitor daily sales, labor, and operational metrics to achieve profitability goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bakery.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and create memorable experiences.

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in both front-of-house and back-of-house environments.
