Job summary

Qualifications

1–3 years of proven plant maintenance experience.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning and hydraulics helpful.
Follows OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment as assigned.
Install, transfer, move, set up, operate and test machines, tools, and electrical controls.
Troubleshoot and reprogram programmable controllers; document actions taken.
Maintain accurate records on work orders and PM reports.
Respond to maintenance and line stoppage calls with quick, efficient repairs.
Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety rules; work in confined spaces and hazardous environments.
Suggest cost-saving improvements and coordinate with supervisors.
