Job summary
Dessert Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Georgia-based production operations. This role involves identifying and repairing electrical and mechanical defects, leading maintenance activities for the area, and ensuring preventive maintenance plans are executed to minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industrial mechanical experience, knowledge of bakery equipment, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years Industrial mechanical experience or two-year technical degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
- Must read/write/speak English; Spanish helpful.
- Must complete HACCP Certification.
- Must have forklift license or training within 90 days.
- Ability to use measurement tools and calibration techniques.
- Experience with CMMS/document maintenance.
- Knowledge of ovens/bakery equipment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and repair electrical and mechanical defects.
- Lead maintenance for assigned area teams.
- Complete preventive maintenance plans as scheduled.
- Participate in RCA on equipment failures.
- Train operators on maintenance techniques.
- Document all maintenance in CMMS.
