Job summary

Izzio Artisan Bakery is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our bakery equipment running smoothly and efficiently. Join a team focused on traditional methods and premium sourdough production.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, implementing PM programs, and collaborating with production to minimize downtime. Weekend and occasional holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited trade school in a related technical field.
• Three years of hands-on experience in maintenance of industrial or food manufacturing equipment.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education and practical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Electrical experience with industrial systems preferred.
• Prior experience with bakery processing equipment, ovens, and food production machinery.
• Demonstrated ability to work with 3-phase electrical systems and motor controls.
• Willingness to work weekends and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex bakery equipment, including both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs on all production equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance based on work orders and PM schedules.
• Monitor machinery performance to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
