Job summary

Izzio Artisan Bakery is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running at peak efficiency in Thornton, CO. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on sophisticated bakery equipment, including ovens and 3-phase systems, while coordinating with production teams.

You will join a team focused on GMPs, safety, and continuous improvement, with weekend and holiday flexibility and opportunities for growth within a growing artisan bakery network.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited trade school in a related technical field.
• Three years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial or food manufacturing equipment.
• Equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Electrical experience with industrial systems preferred.
• Bakery processing equipment, ovens and food production machinery experience preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Reliability: strong attendance and adherence to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex bakery equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
• Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs on all production equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance based on PM schedules.
• Monitor machinery performance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
