Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Rockwall, TX, seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead the bakery's maintenance and engineering functions. You will manage, forecast and develop budgets, oversee MRO programs, and drive safety, environmental and regulatory compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ten or more years of hands-on management experience in maintenance and engineering in a food plant preferred.
• AIB certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support EPA and OSHA related bakery permitting/compliance.
• Track and control cost related Safety issues that involve Maintenance intervention.
• Forecast and develop budgets based on ZBB principles.
• Manage MRO programs to achieve higher levels of performance.
• Oversee maintenance operations for a commercial baking facility with hourly associates and a management staff.
• Analyze and solve technical maintenance issues.
• Lead zero-injury workplace initiatives and ensure safe working conditions and compliance with regulations.
• Develop plant maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Implement CMMS-based reporting and action planning to improve metrics.
• Audit maintenance safety and environmental programs.
• Develop training programs for maintenance supervision and mechanics.
• Plan and manage department budget and cost controls.
• Establish strategic vision and lead through floor communication.
• Develop interdepartmental relationships across departments.
• Manage MRO system goals and processes.
• Familiar with lean tools or similar SPC systems.
• Travel 10-15% for meetings and benchmarking.
