Job summary

Bimbo QSR in Denver, CO seeks a Plant Engineer to lead and support bakery plant engineering and maintenance. You will helm capital planning, budget management, and ensure GMP, food safety and environmental compliance across the plant.

The role focuses on developing maintenance programs, solving technical issues, and driving safety and performance improvements through KPI monitoring and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 5–10 years of experience in predictive / proactive maintenance.
• Experience with administration of a computerized preventive maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and technical support for plant engineering and maintenance activities.
• Oversee annual capital plan and budget administration.
• Ensure GMP, Food Safety, Personal Safety and Quality policy compliance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance programs.
• Analyze and resolve technical maintenance issues to improve equipment reliability.
• Establish KPIs and reports on downtime, PM completion, overtime, and maintenance costs.
• Communicate status of engineering/maintenance activities to plant operations.
• Maintain compliance with environmental laws and company policies.
