Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Maintenance Department Leader to drive world-class maintenance practices in our plant and empower Team Leaders to deliver safe, high-quality products.

You will manage budgets, coach leaders, and lead cross-functional initiatives under the Operations Excellence Playbook, delivering KPI improvements and cost reductions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on management experience in maintenance.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• A combination of education, training and experience may be substituted.
• AIB certification preferred.
• Operational background in electrical circuitry, refrigeration, fuel-burning equipment, and machine mechanics.
• Conceptual knowledge of PLC programming; PLC programming experience preferred.
• Conceptual knowledge on Predictive Maintenance techniques.
• Familiar with lean tools or similar statistical process and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial and reliability health of the maintenance department, including creating and maintaining annual budgets.
• Lead the growth and development of Team Leaders and Associates.
• Build a culture that values people, community, integrity.
• Identify and implement profit-driving strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Uphold leadership behaviors and drive safety, quality, and cost with accountability.
