Job summary

Bernatello’s Foods in Kaukauna, WI is seeking a Line Lead for the 3rd shift to guide our bakery production team in crafting pizza crusts and ensuring quality daily.

This full-time, on-site role offers starting pay of $25 per hour with a $1 shift differential, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a $1,000 referral bonus. You will train staff, troubleshoot equipment, and drive continuous improvement across the line.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leads team and works with management on issues.
• Trains and coaches employees, and works with supervisor.
• Performs all positions in the department as needed.
• Sets up, tears down, changeovers, and troubleshoots equipment.
• Completes paperwork legibly and timely.
• Seeks production and labor improvements and minimizes downtime.
• Addresses safety and food safety concerns with shift supervision.
• Communicates effectively to teams and across functions.
• Follows GMPs, SOPs and FIFO procedures.
• Inspects materials and finished goods to meet specs.

Description

Step up as a Line Lead in our bakery at Bernatello's Foods on 3rd shift, where you'll guide the team in crafting perfect pizza crusts and shaping success every day!

• Starting pay rate: $25 + $1 Shift Differential
• Shift Schedule: Sun-Thurs, 9:30pm-5:30am
• Full-time employee with benefit package (medical, dental, vision, etc)
• $1,000 refferal bonus

Responsibilities

• Leads team and works with management on any issues
• Trains and coaches employees, and works with supervisor
• Understands and is able to perform all positions in their department
• Sets up, tears down, changeovers, and troubleshoots various equipment and machines
• Complete various paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Strives to find ways to improve the system for production and labor
• Minimizes downtime and mistakes
• Addresses safety and food safety concerns and brings them to the attention of the shift supervisor
• Communicates effectively to the teams and manages effectively
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicates across functions
• Follows all safety procedures and policies and train employees to do the same
• Follows all GMPs, SOPs, use raw materials based on FIFO and follow all food safety guidelines and give proper direction to staff
• Understands and executes SQF,HARPC,HACCP policies are met
• Inspects raw materials and finished goods and ensure they meet company specifications

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Ability to understand written or spoken English instructions
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Ability to work with pork, dairy, soy, wheat, egg, shellfish, nut products, and fish
• Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
• Organization and time management skills required
