Job summary

Bernatello's Foods is hiring for a 2nd shift general production/packaging position in Wisconsin. You will participate in open/inspect, conveyor placement, and feeding of pizza products through machines, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role includes a base hourly wage of $18.00 with a $1 shift differential and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with match, profit sharing, time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand verbal and written English instructions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with pork, dairy, soy, wheat, and eggs.

Responsibilities

• Open and remove raw materials from containers.
• Inspect product and raw materials for quality defects.
• Manually place pizza crust on a moving conveyor belt.
• Feed pizza product into machines and hoppers (cheese, meats, vegetables, etc.).
• Order new product and record information on proper documents.
• Set up, tear down, and clean equipment.
• Rotate through various positions on the production or packaging line.
• Complete quality and production paperwork legibly and in a timely manner.
• Sort recycling, garbage, and food waste and dispose of appropriately.
• Work as a member of a team, cooperating with coworkers.
• Maintain a safe, clean work space.
• Follow all safety, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned
