Job summary

Earth Fare Roanoke is seeking an Experienced Bakery Associate to prepare muffins, cookies, Danishes and croissants, and to manage opening/closing of the Bakery Department. You will deliver exceptional customer service at the bakery counter and assist with product presentation and inventory in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in baking or cooking preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Bake muffins, cookies, Danishes and croissants to production guidelines.
• Open and close the Bakery Department.
• Provide exceptional customer service at the bakery counter and related areas.
• Operate ovens and other machinery as required.
• Package dry items and display products on the floor with proper signage.
• Assist with inventory counts and attend department/store meetings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
