Job summary

Earth Fare Roanoke is seeking an Experienced Bakery Team Member to bake muffins, cookies, Danishes and croissants for the dry case and sales floor, following production guidelines. You will open and close the Bakery Department and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

You will maintain case freshness, signage and rotation, operate ovens safely, and assist customers at the bakery counter while supporting sister stores in the region when needed.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent customer service at all times.
• Must be able to work independently and within a team.
• Must be organized and pay close attention to detail.
• Must be able to multi-task while completing production duties.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions from management.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Bakes muffins, cookies, Danishes and croissants and ensures product is ready for the case and sales floor.
• Maintains baked goods case, signage and rotation for freshness.
• Provides excellent customer service at the bakery counter and related areas.
• Operates ovens and equipment safely; helps with production and packaging as needed.
• Maintains department cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
