Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Bakery Department Lead at our Las Vegas location to drive sales and supervise hourly associates in the Bakery department, delivering quality products that meet member expectations.

You will mentor the team, manage inventory and safety standards, and leverage digital tools to improve operations and the member experience. This role emphasizes leadership, integrity, and a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Bakery production including decorating (preferred)
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery department team to meet business plan and member expectations.
• Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience and associate engagement.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area and ensure proper staffing for weekly bakery volumes.
• Train and develop associates and source new talent internally and externally.
• Ensure compliance with quality, inventory, equipment usage, production safety, sanitation and regulatory standards.
