Responsibilities:

• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and respond to customer inquiries.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples and recommend bakery items to customers.
• Ensure products are fresh, properly portioned, and meet quality standards.
• Use bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods following safety and temperature logs.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
• Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
• Assist in cake and pastry sales development and manage cake decorating orders.
• Track inventory and ensure stock levels are adequate for operations.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in safety programs.
• Perform equipment inspections and notify management of repairs.
• Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
